Note: The base will be crocheted in rows; after each row, you will chain 2 and turn your work. The two chain stitches help to reach the height for the new row. These stitches are not counted as stitches in the row. This pattern starts from R2.
Base:
R1. Chain 40. Start crocheting in the 3rd stitch from the hook, 38 HDC (38)
R2-15. Crochet in BLO only ⭢ 38 HDC (38)
Sides x2:
R1. 8 SC in a MR (8)
R2. 2 INC, 4 HDC-INC, 2 INC (16)
R3. (1 INC, 2 SC) x2, 4 HDC-INC, (2 SC, 1 INC) x2 (24)
R4. (2 SC, 1 INC) x3, 2 HDC-INC, (3 HDC in the same stitch) x2, 2 HDC-INC, (2 SC, 1 INC) x3 (38) Make a SL ST in the next stitch, cut the yarn with enough length for sewing.
Assembly:
Fold the work in half and pin one of the sides along one edge of the bag. Sew the side onto the edge of the bag. Repeat on the other side. Secure all threads thoroughly.

Make a slip knot and then 2 CH. Then make a SC in the first CH of the chain. Then turn your work and make a SC in the back of the previous SC. Repeat this until you have a total of 50 SC on the strap. Then finish the work and secure all threads thoroughly.
Details:
Attach a heart-shaped snap hook to each end of the crocheted strap. Then attach the same snap hook to each side of the bag.
Use needle and thread to sew the magnetic snap button in the middle of the bag's opening.
Attach the chain to the heart-shaped snap hooks.
